2-3 Wire AC or models Inductive proximity switches. Basic switch style sensor is ideal for retrofitting mechanical positioning switches. Block-style sensors can be mounted directly to metal. Built-in reverse polarity protection and surge suppressor circuit. 

Working Principal 
An Indective alternating r.f. field id developed at the front of the sensing surface of the Proximity Switches. The field is generated by the resonant circuit coil of the oscillater. Energy is absorbed when a metal piece brought into the r.f. field near the sensing surface , causing oscillation to stop . Hence the demodulated voltage feeding the trigger disapears.

For D C Switches
The trigger operates rapidly when oscillation stop and the trigger switches output transistor , which can be either NPN or PNP to drive an electronics circuit or relay.

For A C Switches
A thyristor is trigged when oscillation stop dueto the presense metal. The thyristor is connected in series with a bridge and the series combition is connected to the AC load.

Applications:
